First-Choice Sitters Screening Process:1. All First-Choice Sitters must be 18 years of age
or older.
2. Sitters must be a high school graduate or have obtained a GED certificate.
3. Sitters must have
at least 4-5 years previous childcare experience, and will be required to provide at least 3 childcare references, 2 character
references, and information about the past three jobs held with phone numbers, all references will be called!
4. Sitters
must have their own reliable transportation, speak fluent English and have the legal right to work in the United States.
5.
Sitters are required to complete an extensive application as well as a face-to-face interview with First-Choice Sitters owner.
6. Sitters must be certified in Basic First Aid and Infant/Child CPR, and please bring along proof of certification
to your interview.
7. A criminal background check is also required, and will be completed before any sitter can be
represented by First-Choice Sitters. This background check will cover each state sitter has resided in during the past
seven years.
***Follow-up calls will be made regularly to make sure each client is pleased with their childcare
Provider. First-Choice Sitters is open to any suggestions, comments or concerns.
